Slouchy beret and headband

The headband was knitted in an Aran weight yarn. Simple knit and was also a gift for a friend who loves these type of accessories.

This was a very quick knit. The person who received this hat was very pleased with it.

It is a chunky beret. Colour: chocolate brown.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year. I cannot believe it is 2012 already.

I am a little excited about this year as I have a lot of lovely projects lined up to knit for myself but I am hoping that this year I will be able to knit them all. The projects include knitting a few hats, another chunky scarf, a poncho and a chunky cardigan. Oh! Of course, a shawl as well.

Wish me luck.

I would like to share my latest project that I completed just before the end of 2011.

Please feel free to leave a comment on my blog.

Thank you.

Cold and dark evenings

Well,it is that time of year. THE clocks will go back in a few days and Winter not be far behind. So out comes the gloves, hats and scarves. Must not forget to add cowls and snoods to the list of winter warmers. I spent some of day sorting through my stash of yarn and I have searched for patterns that I could uise with the stash I have available.

At the moment, I am knitting a poncho. It is looking lovely. I will post a picture when I have finished it.

Here is a picture of it so far.

It has been a long time since I have visited my blog but I am back. I have been busy knitting a ladybird and an afghan. Will post a picture of the afghan later.

Let me know what you think of the ladybird.
